Rogue Lacquer “Mani Bomb” & “Cuticle Oil Pen”

May 24, 2019

Hello my fellow mermaids!

Today I have for you a swatch & review of a couple of new products that Rogue Lacquer has to offer. Rachel asked me to try the “Mani Bomb” and “Cuticle Oil Pens” that she just launched, and since I’ve never tried a Mani Bomb before, I was really excited about it.

You can find 2 different scents for the “Mani Bomb”: Birthday Cake and Fruit Salad, and get either 1 for $2 or 3 for $5. The “Cuticle Oil Pens” come in: Fruit Loops, Orange Creamsicle, Pearberry and Cakesmash, and they’re $5 each for 3ml.

Mani Bomb

Mani Bomb” is the perfect way to pamper your nails and hydrate them at the same time. This was my first time using one and I just used warm water and a bowl where you can fit your hand (or both).

I used a quarter of the mani bomb for each hand, since they can be split and that way you get more than one use per mani bomb. After that I just placed it in the warm water and waited for it to fizz (it looks so cool btw), dipped my hand in, and left it for 5 minutes soaking.

Finally I just took my hand out and used a dry towel to remove any excess water.

You can see a video of me using it down below.

Cuticle Oil

The “Cuticle Oil Pen” is a very convenient way to hydrate on the go, or to use it as a finishing touch in your nail care routine. I use cuticle oil daily, and I have seen that my nails and cuticles have improved since using them.

The Rogue Cuticle Oil Pen is has a very nice formula (not too watery or thick), and it leaves your nails looking and feeling very hydrated when you use it. The brush is perfect for application, since you can see just where you want to use it and I recommend also using it under your nails, since that spot can sometimes be overlook and it needs to be taken care of too.
