“Triton”: 1 year anniversary

June 15, 2020

Hello my fellow mermaids!

This is a very special post for me, because it marks the 1 year anniversary of my collaboration shade with Picture Polish.

“Triton” was launched in 2019 as part of their summer collection, along with 2 other collaboration shades and 2 picture polish shades.

I want to thank each and everyone of you that has already purchased Triton, and I love seeing it on you! Don’t forget to tag me on Instagram whenever you’re wearing it so I can see it.

I’m going to be showing you swatches of it and tell you a bit more about it, as well as a nail art design I did to celebrate its anniversary.

This polish was created with mermaids and a bond between a father and her daughter in mind. I’m known for my love for mermaids, but I also wanted to dedicate this to my Dad. He will always be one of the most important persons in my life, and sadly he passed away on November 2018, so he didn’t even get to see the final shade.

I think this truly captures what “Triton” represents to me: “Inspired by Fernanda’s love of mermaids and a very special bond with her father”.

Let’s get into the swatches!

Triton

“Triton” is an electric blue holographic nail polish with holo flakes + gold hex glitters.

Shown here is 3 coat plus glossy topcoat.

To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Triton, I decided to create this nail art look. This is serving as a tribute to both the character and my Dad, since you can see King Triton’s face on the full hand shot, and on the thumb I decided to use an image of Ariel & Triton to represent the bond between Father & Daughter..

For this look I used Mundo de Uñas “The Little Mermaid” plate, as well as UberChic “Pure Black” stamping polish.

Have a bubbly day!
